Fresh food from local family farms for everyone, regardless of their income level. A thriving, local food system that keeps your food close to home. I believe our communities should have these things, and FairShare helps make it happen.

About Liz Gross

FairShare's largest annual fundraising event, Bike The Barns, couldn't happen this year because of COVID-19. In addition to an independent, guided option that avoids crowds (which you should register for!) they're relying on fundraisers like me to make up the difference. Funds support the Partner Shares program, which provides lower income Wisconsin families with access to farm-fresh food from a CSA, as well as the small business owners who run organic family farms across Wisconsin. They've had to adapt quickly during the pandemic to a loss of farmer's markets, restaurant and school cafeteria accounts, and traditional distribution methods. Both the eaters and the farmers need support during this time. Please consider making a donation. If you must, consider it my birthday gift (I turn thirty something on September 15). And if you register for Routes to Roots, let me know how your walk, run, or ride went.
